A Little About My Career

 

Hello, thank you so much for finding my website! 

I am currently working as a full-time freelance English-Japanese translator.

To avoid confusion..., this is just my personal website, and Harmony Translation is not a company name :)

 

For anyone who is kindly interested in my service, below is my brief career bio as a reference.

I was born and raised in Japan, and  I have always loved literature and writing stories and poems since early childhood.

I have been translating books as a daily hobby since 12, the year I started studying English.

I majored in English language and literature at university and started my freelancing career in 2013.

​

My other interests are; psychology, music, film, and food.

I delivered classes to students aged 8-17 as a part-time teacher at preschool while I was at university and also at the beginning of my freelance career.

Speaking of education, I am currently involved in editing online dictionary and localizing e-learning study course contents. 

​

My current roles are, translator, reviewer, writer, and editor, and I have been working with several translation agencies, individual clients/companies, and authors.
